Using Tokina AT-X Pro 11-20mm f/2.8 PRO DX Lens for Nikon F with Nikon D500 camera (just acquired this lens)

I'm an IMatch user. It appears that IMatch does not recognize this lens. (Using exiftool 12.12 version provided with latest version of IMatch)

When I search the metadata using IMatch I get the following:
[Composite]     Lens ID                         : Unknown (8B 48 1C 30 24 24 85 06)

In the Nikon tag names I see
https://exiftool.org/TagNames/Nikon.html
7A 48 1C 30 24 24 7E 06'   = Tokina AT-X 11-20 F2.8 PRO DX (AF 11-20mm f/2.8)

This is not a new lens, I'm wondering if Nikon have changed their naming in their latest firmware?

Should I send you an image for analysis?

Thank you,
Aubrey.

I found this image on Flickr with the same LensID in case Phil needs a sample.

Same output using a current version of exiftool.
* Did you read FAQ #3 and use the command listed there?
* Please use the Code button for exiftool code/output.

* Please include your OS, Exiftool version, and type of file you're processing (MP4, JPG, etc).

It is not uncommon for lens ID's to change with new versions of the lens.  I'll add support for this new version using the same lens name as the older version.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

Mario has just released the new update of IMatch, with latest version of exiftool 12.31
The modification you applied for Tokina works fine.

Thank you again,
