GH6 quicktimes provide a lot less info than gh4 quicktimes

Hello,

I am a big fan of Exiftool, with my Panasonic GH4 it provided excellent detailed metadata for the quicktimes I shot with it. With my new Panasonic GH6 there is only a fraction of the data in the generated text files, will it maybe provide more info after an Exiftool update or is less metadata available from the quicktimes?

Thanks,
Niklas

Can you provide a sample from the new camera?

If Phil gets a chance, he may check it out to see if there's anything not being read.  Of course, it may be that there just isn't as much data in the files.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

Hello,

I made a Dropbox Folder, with a very short GH6 quicktime, the Exiftool txt file I got from this clip (with very limited metadata), and for comparison a textfile I got from a GH4 quicktime, which provides very detailed metadata.

If you find the time to check it out I would be very grateful:

Thank you!

Hi Niklas,

Thanks for the sample.  ExifTool 12.42 (to be released maybe later today) will have the ability to decode more information from this video.
