I have verified one scanned image with the Exiftool GUI, found that Sub IFD information has been present. This SubIFD contains the additional details of the image Resolution, image width, height, compression, etc.

Kindly confirm whether this SubIFD is the thumbnail image information.

Actually, my Customer requirement is Thumbnail should not embedded in the image.

If that SubIFD is thumbnail, then how we can remove the thumbnail from the image.

Thanks in advance.

In this case, SubIFD indicates it is a full-resolution image, but the size is small so this doesn't make sense.  Is this a TIFF file, or some sort of raw image?
