Organizing Apple Photo Booth Pics

I'm still on my journey organizing years of folders of photos and have run into a problem with pictures taken on Apple's Photo Booth application. They seem to not have any metadata attached to it from the file's actual creation date, they all seem to only have a date associated with when the file was moved into an external folder. Most of these photos date back to around 2010 but it would be nice to have them all in one place sorted properly.

With such date-less images the only option is a best guess. I still have one unfixed image in the Photos album that my daughter occasionally nags "I did not yet have that kind of hair year YYYY".
