Hello.
I have a problem with .nef file from e a Nikon z6 camera.
I copied an entire card and after a few months I noticed that some files, very important, do not open with any software.
Can someone help me?

It is unlikely that anything more than a JPEG preview may be salvaged, but if you send me one of them I'll take a look to see what can be done.  My email is philharvey66 at gmail.com

A quick test you can do is to zip one of the NEF files. NEF files are already compressed so when you zip an undamaged file, the resulting zip will be about the same size. If it compresses a large amount, for example a 20MB image compresses down to about 1-2 MB zip file, then the image is irrevocably damaged.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

I got the file and responded by email.  Unfortunately it was entirely filled with binary zeros. :(

I tried zipping it too, and the 23 MB file zipped down to 23 kB.
