unable to EDIT any MetaData (as of ver. > 9.x)

Hi, not sure whether I'm dull but as of version > 9.x of ExifTool GUI I miss the "edit" "row" beneath the Metadata buttons

Edit >>  ^    ^   ^    ^   

I saw those "editing arrows" (red) beneath the buttons within the older versions (=< ver 8.x), but with the latest version >= 9.x the red row disappeared and i'm unable to edit any metadata anymore. There are only the buttons:

Exif Xmp Iptc Maker Custom
Workspace


I already searched for some settings or menu entries, but found nothing.
Can anyone help me with this?

(BTW: Windows Vista 32 bit)

I think you mean ExifTool GUI version 5.x

Did you read the ExifTool GUI documentation?
