Hello,

I am using the Perl version for the extraction of data but is there a C callable library since the Windows version does not require the installation of Perl?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Jack,

No there isn't.  The Windows version packages Perl in the .exe bundle.

Hello Phil,

Thanks for the reply. Even though I downloaded the latest Windows exe, it is still using the Perl installation from an older version of EXIFTool?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Jack,

No, it will use its own Perl, unpacked in a separate directory in your temporary files.
