Thanks.  I'm banking on this being some temporary network-related slow-down, and hoping it will iron itself out without intervention, as these types of things tend to do.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
