Runnung ExifTool GUI in Mac OS X with Wine program

Wine is the program for Mac OS X that allows PC native programs to be run in Mac OS X environment. I have downloaded ExifTool to the Mac running OS X 10.8 , and have successfully opened it in Wine. Can anyone share some wisdom about this operation? I hope it can work smoothly. Many thanks.
