When I try to update the metadata of a serie of photo's I get an error message stating that ExifTool is missing tables:

Most images will update with the -m option however one will not. Trying to fix the error as described on the website FAQ (nr. 20) does not resolve the issue.
Does anyone have a suggestion? The photo is available upon request.

This looks like a corrupted installation.  Try following the uninstall instructions, then try again.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
