date changing

i have recorded a video with sony handycam but wrongly i recorded it with old date .....................can i change it with new date when importing to computer ?

What is the file format?  If MP4, ExifTool may be able to do what you want but I'll need more details to give you more help.  Specifically, the output of the following command would be useful:

exiftool -a -G1 -time:all FILE

Also, what time to you wan to change to?
