ExifTool is a great application for reusing it in our own tools. What do you think about creating group in GitHub which would gather people who are using Exiftool in their apps? This way we could show ourselves as FLOSS subsociety and it would be easier to find some applications, which now are somewhere there, hard to find.

The best way would be if the boss/creator would be Phil, but I can take care about it as well. I just don't want to act as "boss" while I'm not.

I think that it also could give us some view on users who feel connected with Exiftool somehow.

Other pro - sometimes companies might want to hire somebody who's exiftool hacker and as a group, it would be easier to spot the best ones.

I think you may be overestimating the number of people who would find this useful.
