MakerNotes:TimeStamp

Hi,

my English isn´t perfect, so sorry for some mistakes in the text. 
I´m new on exiftool and i try to generate in a picture a new Tag.

In special this one:
-MakerNotes:Timestamp

The code to do this looks so:

exiftool.exe "-MAKERNOTES:TIMESTAMP=2010:01:01 00:00:00-06:00" xxx.jpg


The thing is, nothing happens. The console shows me only, that the file was not updatet.
I have also tested the -wm-mode. Is there a way to generate this Tag?

See item 2 under Tag Docs.  MakerNotes can't be created, only edited.  MakerNotes is a catch-all group for all the various proprietary ways each camera manufacturer includes various data.
