How to check and correct XMP Files?

Hi,

I have about 60000 RAW files from different cameras. Each RAW file has XMP sidecar file.
I have imported all my files into ON1 Photo RAW catalog. But ON1 did not read the EXIF data for all images. Support told me it is so because some of my XMP files are incomplete or corrupt. I can't believe that. Capture One, LR, PhotoSupreme or iMatch don't have any problems but ON1 Photo RAW.
So I would like to check if ExifTool will also complain something

Hi Rob,

You could try this for kicks:

exiftool -validate -warning FILE.xmp

Or send me one of the files that ON1 Photo RAW doesn't like and I'll take a look (philharvey66 at gmail.com)

Thank you Phil,

the problem were not my XMP files but ON1 own *.on1 sidecars files.
