How to add Emoji to usercomment? if possible?

Hi Guys

I am trying to add text with emoji to user comment, I can get the text to work but I can't get Emoji or £ symbols to write to user comment

Do I need to change the character set?


If you manually copy and paste text with Emoji into the user comment it works

Also with atomicparsley.exe for .mp4 videos the comment to user comment works with Emojis,

so I think this can be done am just too much of a noob to work it out

What OS are you using? On a Mac, emoji support is built-in and adding them is easy, on Windows I don't think the terminal (font) has emoji support.

Yeah, windows support for emoji on the command line is limited to non-existent.  Personally, I've never been able to get any windows command line to support anything but basic characters.  This question had me going down another rabbit hole to try and get something to work, but I wasn't able to get any results.  Even though setting the characters using Properties->Details appears to work, the command line output is either just ?? or  ��

I used write comments from text file and this worked
