Substitute exiftool.exe w/ perl version on Windows?

Admin vs restricted user:  my experience is on Windows 10.

What was the result when you tried to run ExifTool as a restricted user (without admin privileges)?

ExifToolGUI crashes (maybe not the proper technical term ... bottom line is it doesn't work).  When the other programs use ExifTool, those features don't seem to work, but the program doesn't crash.

Where did you store ExifTool?

For ExifToolGUI:  I have tried inside the folder where ExifToolGUI.exe is located and C:\Windows.  In regards to other programs ... I would have to research to where their installers are placing it.
