Batch rename Silverfast 64 bits hdri file with Exiftool

Hello forum.
Can anyone confirm that exiftool can be used to batch rename silverfast 64 bit hdri files without changing silverfast metadata?
I can see on the web and this forum that it has been discussed before, but can not see that a definitive answer or solution has been made to the problem.
Ps. Google might translate a little clumsy which I'm sorry :-)

All I can suggest is to try it on a copy of one of your files and see.  I have no experience with Silverfast but looking over their website it appears that the output files are nothing out of the ordinary.

Doing a rename does not change any data embedded in the file.
