Hi Phil,

although I watch "Releases only" https://github.com/exiftool/exiftool, I don't get any notification about new releases of ExifTool. I found that other people are affected, too.

Could it be you create tags but no formal releases? See https://webapps.stackexchange.com/questions/125869/are-there-different-types-of-releases-on-github

Do you know another way to get a mail if a new version is released, so I can promptly prepare a new Windows ZIP file and installer?

Sourceforge sends me emails whenever Phil updates exiftool on that site.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

Hi Oliver,

This is github issue number 13.  It requires extra steps for me to do the "formal" github release, and I haven't figured out an easy way to do this yet.
