EXIF data about the trigger method used with Canon 5D Mark III?

Hi,

I hope you can help answer some of the questions about EXIF data from the Canon 5D Mark III.

If an image is taken either with a wire trigger in the remote control terminal or wirelessly, will it (the trigger method) be recorded in the image's EXIF data?

If so, which EXIF tag indicates how the image was taken?

By reading https://exiftool.org/TagNames/Canon.html#CameraSettings I found out that Canon has a ShotInfo Tag:

ControlMode: 0 = n / a. 1 = Camera Local Control. 3 = Computer Remote Control

But I do not know how it should be perceived/interpreted. What is meant by Camera Local Control? What is meant by Computer Remote Control? Is it solely controlling the camera via the camera's USB port?

I can't answer this, but from the name I expect that "Computer Remote Control" means controlling by a computer.  Does the 5DmkIII have any other way to connect to a computer other than USB?

I don't know if it would change with a remote shutter release device.

Canon 5D Mark III only has a USB port for communication with a computer.

Maybe there is a photographer in this amazing forum who has the Canon 5D Mark III lying around and who has the opportunity to test whether there is a difference in EXIF data in pictures taken with a wire trigger and a wireless remote control, respectively.
