@Alan: Yes, that was my initial guess here (ie. IFD1:Orientation).
...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
