Hi Phil,

no, do not bother; I thought it was just a matter of format in a sprintf or such, just to prevent the output in double and instead have it in raw hex bytes. Sorry, I do not know the internals of exiftool, I am too much thinking in terms of C ;-)

I went back and read my posts from last year.  I should have done that earlier, but it was good for me to look at this with fresh eyes.  I re-discovered some things that we already knew from earlier, but I tried some different things this time which is good.  Unfortunately none of them have panned out so far.
