From what I've seen from iPhone recorded videos, the QuickTime:CreateDate and QuickTime:CreationDate tags both store the time of when recording started, not when the recording ended.

Is it safe to assume that all cameras that record QuickTime videos will set the CreateDate and CreationDate tags to the time that recording started (is that part of the spec?), or is it possible some cameras might set those tags to the time that recording ended?

Some DJI cameras (and maybe others) store the ending time.
