Hi PHil,

I have a revision for the Apple MakerNotes Image Capture Type.

The Apple MakerNotes Image Capture Type seems tied to the Exif Subject Area.

Image Capture Type              : Photo (12)
The subject area is a large rectangle centered in the image.

Image Capture Type              : Photo
The subject area is a small square, either auto or manual focus.
OR: The image was altered, like rotated after an in-camera alteration.
Basically, this seems to be the catch-all value.

Image Capture Type              : Unknown (11)
Manual focus, no faces found.
Only seen with older iOS versions.

Hi Neal,

It would be more helpful if you suggested possible names for these.  I'm guessing here, but how about this: 12="Scene", 11="Manual Focus"

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

Ya know, those look like names.
12 = Scene
11 = Manual
10 = Photo
