Hi Phil,

Exiftool is very helpfull.
Does Exiftool support verifying Solid Works CAD files *.SLDDRW and  *.SLDPRT file format?
If not, can it be done with small effort ?

Thanks,

Zvi

Do you have some sample files? Is there any specific metadata in those files?
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

Hi,
I attached 3 Solid Works files.
I am not familiar enough with the details.
I was requested to check if the files are valid Solid Works files.

Thanks a lot, Zvi.

Adding read support for these files would require some effort, so I don't think it makes sense to do this since I can't recall anyone else wanting this feature.  A quick look at the files and a search for the file format specification didn't yield any fruit.

Hi Phil,
I do not expect you to do extra code.
If it can not fit any known format, then I shall leave it.
Thank you,
Zvi
