makernote: Warning: [minor] Unrecognized MakerNotes?

When I get this error message, what does it mean?
Is the data e.g. still copied form one file to another?

Hi Jan,

MakerNotes use proprietary, undocumented formats, so it is difficult to say whether the format is valid.  Often the TIFF format is used (same as EXIF), which makes things easier to decode, but this doesn't appear to the be case for your sample.
