Hi all,

I'm wondering if the below indices are correct (EOS 600D):
FocusDistanceUpper = 87
FocusDistanceLower = 89
LensType = 234

Peter,

FocusDistanceUpper/Lower don't really have much significance, and in some models they are reversed (as here, apparently).

The LensType is correct if you had the EF-S 17-85mm mounted.

@Phil
I know FocusDistanceUpper/Lower do not have much significance. Nevertheless I'm looking for the right Canon CameraInfo600D Tags locations (not the values).

Sorry, I misread your original post.  I'll look into decoding the CameraInfo for the 600D for the next ExifTool version.

I've taken a quick look and I think you are correct about these.  Here is what I have so far for the 600D:

3: FNumber
4: ExposureTime
6: ISO
7: HighlightTonePriority
21: FlashMeteringMode
25: CameraTemperature
30: FocalLength
56: CameraOrientation
87: FocusDistanceUpper
89: FocusDistanceLower
123: WhiteBalance
127: ColorTemperature
179: PictureStyle
234: LensType
236: ShortFocal
238: LongFocal
411: FirmwareVersion
475: FileIndex
487: DirectoryIndex
763: PictureStyleInfo

Thanks for getting me going on this.
