Phil, I don't know where to look for this.

I have in an arg file
-mwg:keywords+=Gazimağusa

Got a warning

Warning: Some character(s) could not be encoded in Latin - x-s1_0520.jpg

The xmp subject looks OK but the iptc keywords has a question mark.

Is this an iptc problem or is there someway around it.

See FAQ 10 for help with this.

The bottom line is that IPTC:CodedCharacterSet should be set to UTF8.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

My brain exploded reading the FAQ.

It looks alright now though thanks.

It looks like I put a reference to utf-8 in my webpage generator but I haven't got to that bit yet.  I extract from the xmp version to put onto the webpages.
