formatting for posts is not available

Hi Phil

When posting, I used to see buttons that added bold or italic formatting and allowed code or images or links to be added.
That is no longer available.
Maybe I turned it off by mistake.
How can I re-gain those functions.

Problem was all mine, caused by misuse of a Firefox plug-in.
