Hi Phil
I processed few photos to write IPTC keywords to them. Exiftool worked perfect. But at the end, I did not see any keywords in second batch of photos. Observing closely, I observed a difference between the IPTC information of two sets. The second batch had some added information named "Envelope". I am not sure if this is interfering. Can you please help? I have attached screenshots of both for your reference.

Thank
Amit

Hi Amit,

I think this is a question for whatever software you are using that didn't "see" the keywords.

One tip is that some software may ignore IPTC if XMP exists.

The IPTC Envelope record shouldn't cause a problem.  The CodedCharacterSet just indicates that the IPTC uses the UTF-8 character set.

Would a solution be to write to mwg:keywords so the XMP-dc:Subject is written as well?
