Hi Phil,

Is it possible to extract the image of an Epub file with ExifTool ?
In principle, the coverage file is located in the opf file).

No.  You can just use unzip if you want to extract image files from an EPUB, if that is what you are asking.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

This would be the same as trying to extract all embedded images from a PDF document.  A bit overwhelming I think.  EPUB files may contain a very large number of images.
