If you send me one of the CR2 files I'll take a look, but don't get your hopes up.  My email is philharvey66 at gmail.com

I got the files, thanks.

The fact that seven 27MB CR2 files compressed down to 1.8 MB in the zip file indicates to me right off the bat that the original raw data is lost. :(

Doing a hex dump, all of the files look like this:

    0000: 44 61 74 61 20 52 65 63 6f 76 65 72 79 20 4c 61 [Data Recovery La]
    0010: 62 73 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f [bs??????????????]
    0020: 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f [????????????????]
    0030: 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f 3f [????????????????]
    etc...

Unfortunately it looks like they contain no useful data.

Sorry for the bad news.

Phil, Thank You for looking at the file so quickly. I really appreciate it, these files came to me from seagate data recovery, I still have the infected or not sure what happened to the USB HDD, just unmounted itself one one day.. So i guess i have lost  over a TB of files, thanks for your efforts.
