Update error on Synology diskstation

Hi!
I am trying to update Exiftool 17.01.14 to the latest version on a Synology diskstation (operating under DSM 6.1-15047 Update 1).

When I try to update I receive the error message (translated from German):
"The following packages are missing on the package server. Please contact Synology service to get support.
//exiftool.org/forum/, Perlreport_url"

I contacted support, but didn't receive a response (after >10 days).
Since I don't know what the message means (except that it guided me to this forum) I wols appreciate any help from here.

Hi Franz,

I don't know anything about Synology or DSM, but the latest ExifTool distributions can be found on the ExifTool home page.

I sent a PM to user 'Nexius2', who is the originator of the exiftool synology package (see thread  https://exiftool.org/forum/index.php/topic,6157.0.html).
I should have done that in the first place.

(And, BTW: thanks a lot for the great tool you've created, and for your continous efforts to maintain and update it!!)
