I shoot with two cameras, a Canon 1DX and a Canon 5D Mark III and have been using exiftool -@ New_Captions.arg dir to apply IPTC values to all the files in dir
(exiftool version 10.80)

Until last week, everything was working perfectly, but now I am getting the following warning: Unrecognized CameraInfo5DmkIII firmware version

It just so happens that I just got my 5D back from Canon factory service and I guess they updated the firmware.

It appears that exiftool is working with the files, but I'd prefer not to have errors. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'll be glad to send you a sample file, if that would help.

Sure, send me a sample file.  my email is philharvey66 at gmail.com

I got the samples, thanks.

ExifTool 10.81 will support reading the CameraInfo for this version of the 5DmkIII firmware.
