Set EXIF date based on the filename order

I want to fix the EXIF data on a group of photos that appear scrambled on Google Photos.
Some have the wrong date/time, some are correct. It's all a mess -- there's no logic to the different timestamps.

But if I look at them on the mac Finder, their order is correct: their filenames have the right order.

Is there a way to:
1) set all the photos to June 1st
2) set a new time for every photo, in a way that keeps the same order I see in the Finder?
(e.g. every subsequent photo is offset by +1 minute or something..?)

I'm not picky about time accuracy; I just want them to appear in the right order...

Thank you so much for your time.

"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

You can use xnviewmp software. 1 Sort by name, 2 Select files, 3 Tools menu, ... change timestamp (with increment for each file)
For this task, xnviewmp uses exiftool
