Tags written to write-protected images

Hello,

just found out that even if an image has set the file attribute to "write-protect" (Win10, 64bit), EXIFtool nevertheless writes or deletes a tag. How could this be?

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
