It looks like Geosetter has not been abandoned.  There's a minor update to 3.5.2.  It just fixes a problem with requesting names from GeoNames that had special characters.

The Mantis error tracker is also back up and running.
* Did you read FAQ #3 and use the command listed there?
* Please use the Code button for exiftool code/output.
 
* Please include your OS, Exiftool version, and type of file you're processing (MP4, JPG, etc).
