IPTC Extension version 1.5 tags

In the patch notes for version 11.74

How new is this ImageRegion tag?  Is there some publicly available documentation?  I tried looking through the IPTC website but couldn't find any data.

Is there a list of XMP IPTC Extension version 1.5 tags that were added?

I expect that the IPTC Extension version 1.5 specification should be released soon (within a month or so maybe).  So it is very new.

Only the one tag ("ImageRegion") is added by the new specification, but this is a structure so it results in a number of ExifTool flattened tag names.

There was a StackOverflow question about region tagging in images and I was trying to provide sources, but couldn't find the data.  I'll have to keep an eye out.
