I realize that EIP files are basically zip files and that I can extract the raw file from an EIP easily enough.
However does anyone happen to know how to re-pack the extracted contents back into an EIP, such that it can be read by Capture One?

Thanks,
Phil

I hate to ask the obvious question but have you tried re-zipping it and then changing the file extension?
* Did you read FAQ #3 and use the command listed there?
* Please use the Code button for exiftool code/output.

* Please include your OS, Exiftool version, and type of file you're processing (MP4, JPG, etc).

Yes, I tried that.
When you unzip them the individual parts seem to lose their identities. The filename of the raw file, for example, is now named 0.iqq (or whatever the extension.) There are then a bunch of xml files... It doesn't seem that re-zipping the folder unscrambles the egg, so to speak.

Maybe you can use Capture One.

Yes, I can use Capture One, of course.
However what I am trying to write a utility to perform some basic actions on EIP files that doesn't depend on having Capture One installed.
