Is the hex supposed to print?

Not exactly answering your question but that tag is a work in progress - its a long (4 byte) value and the Flicker Reduction setting can be reliably inferred from the second byte - the other bytes sometimes have non-zero values - but have not yet been decoded.

(I find it useful to see the 4 byte hex value in trying to understand the tag meaning - but that may not be why Phil prints it).

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

Yes - you implemented my test code - not that I'm complaining.

I notice I said it only applied to the X-T3 but of course its also been included in all X series cameras since the X-T3.
