Adding FieldOfView tag

Hi,
I'm new to this tool. I used an iPhone to record video, then used ffmpeg to extract every 10th frame. I want to add FOV info so I can use the images to generate 3D surfaces with Regard3D. When I try:

exiftool -FieldOfView=50 landscape.001.jpg

I get:

Code Select Expand

    0 image files updated
    1 image files unchanged

and no FOV info was added. What am I doing wrong?

Exiftool doesn't have definitions to write FieldOfView.   Check the Tag Names subpage for that particular tag to see what tags are writable/not writable.
