Hey guys, I really need your help.
I have been trying to solve the problem by myself using the FAQ but I still dont understand how to specify the formatting of your files' file names.

For example:
exiftool -d "VID-%Y%m%d-WA%H%M.%%e" "-alldates<filename" ./

It doesn't understand my filename.

I have several files like these:
VID-20190117-WA0094.mp4
VID-20190124-WA0290.mp4

So please send me the command needed. Im begging you I am at your mercy...

To be honest, I don't understand your filename either.  The YearMonthDay is obvious, but it looks like you're trying to say the numbers after the WA are HoursMinutes, which is obviously incorrect because there are only 60 minutes in an hour, not 94 or 90.

Also, you need to have seconds in order to copy to the time stamps.

So you're filename won't work for the operations in FAQ #5.  It will need to be reformatted and the proper HourMinuteSeconds needs to be appended.

Here's a starting command.  It will extract the date part of the filename and use 00:00:00 for the time part.
exiftool "-AllDates<${Filename;m/(\d{8});$_=$1/} 00:00:00" ./

With some further input from you, the time part can be adjusted.
* Did you read FAQ #3 and use the command listed there?
* Please use the Code button for exiftool code/output.

* Please include your OS, Exiftool version, and type of file you're processing (MP4, JPG, etc).
