Hi all,

There may be many different uses for meta-tagged media data. Most people would only take photos of their pets, kids or landscape spots they visit, which would barely spark any interest from the people beyond their circles (families, friends, colleagues etc.). Others screenshot the pages of the ebooks they read on their tablets or computer screens. But since people have different interests and therefore read different stuff, it is not so common that 2 unfamiliar persons would exchange their findings.

Google, Yandex etc are all powerful search engines, nonetheless one may find it very time-consuming and boresome to look up something from 100 difference web sources out of 100 images or pdf-files, each containing between 30-100 pages. It often seems much easier to screenshot a couple of pages from the whole paper, add a few meta-tags and save them to local storage in order to quickly find and use later. However given the ever growing volumes of the information in the modern world, in order to make searching more effective it is worthwhile to consider how to share things, so that anyone could also find what was once read and meta-tagged by other researchers with common interests in the same areas.

So I am curious, are there any platforms and universal expert search systems that facilitate the exchange of professional information, gathered from multiple different sources?
