Lightroom plugins for EXIFtool

I searched the forum and struck by the lack of content on integration with Lightroom. I have check out the options from google search but most plugins does not seem to work on latest lightroom classic.
I want recommendations on lightroom plugins related to exiftool. I dont fully like LR, but better than most options, and exiftool is the fastest and most reliable tool for me. But I need to organize visually a lot of media files, and want to make metadata edits that goes fast on many files at multiple locations.
I want LR to use exiftool to write to files, this does not seem like a unusual request. Also want to view exif data in LR on the amount that exifttool shows it.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

I can't offer any advice on Lightroom, but you might take a look at Imatch.  It uses exiftool on the back end and it has very powerful features for organizing files and dealing with metadata.
