I was testing out Digikam's export to Google Photos feature and discovered there is an option which, if enabled, writes back the Google Photo ID to the source image as XMP once exported.

The XMP tag is picasawebGPhotoId contained within the digikam namespace. I noticed it is not included in Exiftool's XMP tags list.

I have attached a sample XMP file - digikam_Gphoto_test.xml

Hi José,

Thanks.  ExifTool 12.50 will add support for this, plus the XMP-GCamera:ShotLogData in this file.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
