Hi, is there a command to fix "Unknown value for InteropIFD:InteropIndex"? This is the value:

[InteropIFD]    InteropIndex                    : Unknown (....)
[InteropIFD]    InteropVersion                  : 51

I tried searching for that message but found nothing.

Should I just remove the InteropIFD group? Is this tag important?

I'm guessing that removing it might change the colors, as if you look at its entry on the EXIF Tags page (very first entry), it mentions Adobe RGB and sRGB.  But since it has an unknown value, it obviously isn't either of those.

It may be possible that one of the programs you're using added this unknown value. Or if you're using a Sony camera, some of them use unknown values. I would probably just leave it alone.  It's small and doesn't take up much space and you most likely wouldn't even have known about it without exiftool.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype
