I have a lot in the internet and also tried to ask chatGPT and still can't find a good and working answer!

I have a large file which I extracted with google takeout to my computer (Mac M1).
all want is to move all files to my photo app from iCloud, for doing this I need to make all the .jpg.json files into only photos, I want to keep all the metadata that google collected about the photo such as time and gps etc.
I have tried everything the internet has to suggest and nothing worked.
in the folder I have plenty of formats such as .json, .jpg.json, .jpg, .heic etc.
please help me with terminal commands or some free way to export them all in bulk

thank you! ;D

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
