Making a simple GUI app

I realized I could save myself time by putting ExifTool commands in .sh files in Linux's Templates folder, enabling me to add Exif commands to a folder similar to creating a new text doc, and running them by double-clicking them. But that still requires me to open the commands with a text editor and add my text. How difficult would it be to make an app that just presents you with a form when opened and then runs Exif commands with your input?
