Hi Frank,

Just noticed a minor bug. When clicking on a photo with GPS coordinates in the file list, it will show the "geotagged?" field as *NO*. If you then move up and down the list with the up and down arrow keys, it correctly shows as *YES*.

As always, thanks for your awesome support!

Hi Kevin,

I dont consider this to be a minor bug, so I want to fix it asap. The bad news is, I cant yet reproduce it. Can you provide more info?

- Version of GUI and ExifTool.
- You seem to have modified the Workspace, could you post your INI file. Or use Program/Export settings?
- In your Workspace settings you have the Latitude field. Does that show correctly?
- In the File list view 'Location info' there is a field called 'GPS'. Does that show correctly?

If you care about privacy, send me a PM.

Frank

Yes, I can't see any issue with Latitude

- In the File list view 'Location info' there is a field called 'GPS'. Does that show correctly?
Yes, see screenshot attached. It says Geotagged *NO* in the Workspace for any of them on first clicking a file.

Regards,
Kevin

Thanks for the info Kevin,

The good news is, that I can reproduce it now. It's getting late in my part of the world (Netherlands), so will look into it tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

Hi Kevin,

I believe to have it fixed. (A classic case of not initializing a variable) If you look at my OneDrive you will see 2 zip files.
- ExifToolGui_PreRel_639.zip
- ExifToolGui_V6381.zip

Both versions have the fix.
ExifToolGui_V6381.zip fixes Version V6.3.8.
ExifToolGui_PreRel_639.zip is a pre-release containing new (undocumented) features, like Hash files and Regions.

I've downloaded v6.3.8.1 and it has indeed fixed this bug. Many thanks!

You're welcome. Thank you for testing and confirming.

Hope to release V639 soon for an 'official' fix.
