Can anyone tell me how to un-install Exif Tool (for OS X)?

Also, Phil says "My e-mail address is on the first line of the README file in the full distribution." Well, I dowloaded 7.08 and installed it and never saw a "README" file. Either in the Disk Image or anywhere after the install. https://exiftool.org/forum/Smileys/default/huh.gif" alt="Huh" border="0" />??

ExifTool looks like a great idea....except it has no graphical interface.....too bad, I had to many bad experiances with CP/M to ever start using one again.

After looking over the "instructions" again I can't even see how to launch this if I wanted to.....https://exiftool.org/forum/Smileys/default/huh.gif" alt="Huh" border="0" />??

Got my nephew a digital camera for Christmas, told my sister to set the date & time before he used it. Of couse she couldn't figure it out. I was all set to set it Christmas and she tells me "oh he won't use it until Saturday, you can set it then when you come out". Well, he took about 300 pics yesterday and today and every date and time is off by almost a year! Anyone know of any easier to use EXIF date fixers out there? Thanks...

Hi Jeff,

You have to run this from the command line by opening
a Terminal window (/Applications/Utilities/Termal.app) then
typing the appropriate commands.  There are various wrappers
to give a GUI to exiftool, but none of them can access all of the
features, and I'm not sure if any can shift the date/time values
as you need.

To un-install exiftool, open a Terminal window and type this
(exactly):

Code:
rm -rf /usr/bin/exiftool /usr/bin/lib
