Copying CreateDate into Caption-Abstract

Hi

What I would like to do is copy the EXIF CreateDate field into IPTC field Caption-Abstract, and after much looking around I am thinking that EXIF Tool is the thing I need.

The problem is that I'm a newbie and commands I've used are not working.

For example

well I tried to put my code but it wouldn't accept them

and others.

Can anyone point me in the eight direction?
